It’s time for Easter and it is such a special time for us to remember how our Lord was raised from the dead and lives in our hearts and with us daily. He blesses us always.

The people that have joined our church by letter are Amanda Daniel, Troy Lee, Matt and Sara Weber, Tracy and Shawn Jordan and Paige Wilson. Our baptisms on December 28, 2008 are Taylor Hemmert, Tory Jordan and Kenny Elwood. And on January 25, 2009 we had Dee Wright, Wade Wright, Kelson Redman, Cory Sifrit, Zebulon Smith, Dennis Bowsher and Kerry Moyer. We would like to welcome everyone to our church.

Our church camp this year is July 10th and 11th. The cost is $50.00 again. I am sure they need Pepsi products again, so think about finding it on sale and stock up for them, if you choose to do that this year. They really thank you bunches.

Vacation Bible School is going to be July 22 through 26th. If you want to help, I am sure they will accept your kind offer. I think they usually need cookies for those days. These are just reminders for the summer fun.

In March we had “Cory’s auction” and it was another success. Lots of hard work to get this together. Thanks church and everyone that helped in any way!!!!! The Ladies club cooked the meal with Lee’s chicken. Such a deal, the meal for only $6.00 and child’s was $3.00. Our sister church Lafayette Missionary Baptist made the desserts for us and there are not enough kind words to say to all the ladies that helped with that, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! If you haven’t been to this event you are really missing something. Everybody has a great time.

Well, you know the good Lord didn’t create anything without purpose, but mosquitoes come close.
